Before you pay
Either of you can cancel a booking that hasn’t been paid for, at no cost. Unpaid bookings expire automatically 24 hours after the Raahi is accepted, or at the start time if that is sooner.
If the customer cancels a paid booking
The current rules are below. The rules saved on your booking are the ones that apply to it.
| When you cancel | Refund |
|---|---|
| 24 hours or more before the start time | Full refund |
| Between 4 and 24 hours before | 50% refund |
| Less than 4 hours before, or you don’t turn up | No refund |
Any amount that isn’t refunded is a cancellation fee. It is shared between the Raahi (who set the time aside) and Yaarzi in the same proportion as the booking. The app shows the exact refund before you confirm a cancellation.
If the Raahi cancels
You always get a full refund. Repeated cancellations by a Raahi can lead to their account being suspended.
Once the booking has started
A booking can’t be cancelled once it has started. If something goes wrong, raise a dispute from the booking. You can also raise one up to 72 hours after a booking is completed.
Disputes
Tell us what went wrong. While we review it, the Raahi’s earnings on that booking are held. Our team looks at the booking history, any reports and what both of you tell us, then decides whether the booking stands, or whether a full or partial refund is due. We record the reason for every decision.
How refunds reach you
Refunds go back to the original payment method through [payment gateway], usually within[number] working days after we process them, depending on your bank.
Online payments are not switched on yet. In the current test mode, “payments” and “refunds” are simulations shown so the booking flow can be tried; no real money is charged or returned.
Tickets, food and travel
Costs paid to third parties — cinema tickets, meals, entry fees, travel and accommodation — are not part of the Yaarzi booking and aren’t covered by this policy unless the booking says otherwise.
