Respect and consent
- Be courteous and on time. If plans change, cancel in the app as early as you can.
- Consent comes first. Ask before taking photos, and accept “no” the first time.
- Either person can end a booking at any moment, without having to explain.
Platonic only
Yaarzi is for social company. Sexual services, sexual or romantic advances, and requests for them are not allowed — not as a joke, not “off the record”, and not after a booking ends. This is the one rule that ends an account immediately.
Be who you say you are
- Use your own recent photos and your own identity documents.
- Describe your plan honestly — where, when, what you’d like to do.
- Write reviews about the experience, honestly and without insults.
Respect people’s privacy
- Don’t ask for or share another member’s phone number, address, workplace or social media.
- Don’t photograph, record or post about someone without their clear permission.
- Keep the meeting point to yourselves.
Never allowed
- Harassment, threats, stalking, hate speech or discrimination based on caste, religion, gender, sexuality, disability or origin.
- Violence, or bringing weapons or illegal substances to a booking.
- Asking for or taking payment outside Yaarzi, or any kind of scam.
- Using Yaarzi for anyone under 18.
What we do when standards are broken
Depending on what happened, we may:
- warn the member and explain what was wrong;
- hide a review or cancel a booking, with a refund where due;
- suspend the account while we investigate;
- close the account permanently; and
- report the matter to the police where the law requires or someone is at risk.
We record the reason for every action. If you think we got it wrong, contact support. See the Safety Guidelines for how to report a problem.
